Rep. Cross Supported Override of Governor's Ethics Bill Rewrite
9/25/2008 10:00:00 AM Springfield, IL….In a one-day session of the Illinois General Assembly in Springfield on Wednesday, State Representative Tom Cross (R-Oswego) voted to restore the original intent of comprehensive ethics reform legislation he co-sponsored. House Bill 824 would prohibit anyone holding or seeking a state contract worth $50,000 or more from making political donations to state officeholders overseeing the contract.
